USSSA Tournament Directors — The Public Record

Day 4 | Missy Jennings — Oklahoma Tournament History, Facilities & Financial Transparency

Historical USSSA seasons 2010–2020 • Updated division-level reconstruction • Public-source links • Public-facility questions.

Draft prepared: October 15, 2026Dataset supplied October 12, 2026Baseball & softballResearch, not accusation
118Distinct historical event IDs (not division rows)
2,307Team entries, including league and refund-labeled records
$402,951Calculated advertised team-entry-fee volume
5,973Dataset-modeled minimum games — not verified completions
10,002Modeled umpire assignments — not unique individuals
13Facility classifications across eight counties

What can public youth-sports records tell us about tournaments, families, fees, fields and the communities that support them? Today's profile examines the historical Oklahoma USSSA records naming Missy Jennings, with particular concentrations at Buck Thomas Park in Moore, Bouse Sports Complex in Choctaw and EOC All Sports Complex in Harrah.

Research standard: These figures reconstruct event activity associated with a name appearing in a sports sanctioning database. They do not establish who collected the money, who held a lease, who paid expenses, whether an event produced a profit, or whether anyone acted improperly. No misconduct is alleged.

1. Whose historical records are being examined?

The controlling AIUSSSA - Hidden Valley Integrity Of The Game.csv file, supplied to the research library October 12, 2026, contains 287 division-level entries identifying Missy Jennings across 118 distinct USSSA event IDs in seasons 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. No 2015 record appears under this exact dataset name; absence in this extract does not prove there was no activity.

The affiliated Baseball Heaven research profile ↗ cites a source report displaying an USSSA Area Director designation and separately records historical information identifying Jennings as a former Oklahoma USSSA softball State Director. Dates of that state-level tenure are not independently established. This article therefore does not attribute the entire activity period to a confirmed state-level office.

The public USSSA director lookup link preserved in the director inventory ↗ is retained for traceability. Older USSSA links may not load consistently in current browsers; the association here is based on the supplied historical dataset, not a new verification of present-day organizational status.

2. Updated totals and reconciliation

The October 12 source produces $402,951 in calculated entry fees ($388,468 softball and $14,483 baseball), based on recorded team counts multiplied by the division's posted entry price. Of the 287 rows, 259 concern softball and 28 concern baseball; the corresponding event-ID counts are 108 and 10.

Why older profiles may differ: The earlier director report summarized $400,847, 2,299 team entries, 5,957 modeled minimum games and 9,976 estimated officiating assignments. The updated file shows +$2,104 in calculated fees, +8 team entries, +16 modeled games and +26 officiating assignments. The division-row count remains 287. Without a record-by-record prior snapshot, the cause of each changed field is not verified; the October 12 CSV controls this article.

Counting method: 287 rows are age/class divisions, not 287 tournaments. Distinct events are grouped by unique historical USSSA event IDs in the dataset's EventUrl column. Multiple divisions of the same event are counted once as an event, while each division's team entries and directly associated fee calculations are summed once. Three event IDs have non-identical division start dates; all remain grouped under their shared event ID and are flagged for schedule confirmation.

3. Season-by-season public activity

Season year is the USSSA Seasonid, not necessarily the calendar year when an event began; some season-2011 events commenced in fall 2010. Figures below include division records labeled as league activity and a distinct refund-labeled administrative record.

USSSA seasonEventsDivisionsTeam entriesCalculated entry feesModeled minimum gamesModeled officiating assignments

20192262470$48,2561,4742,266
20201221$2,77261122

The largest calculated fee season is 2012 ($109,775), followed by 2011 ($90,123) and 2010 ($63,821). These are fee calculations from public inputs, not verified deposits or profits.

4. Where the records place the activity

The October 12 dataset associates the historical records with 13 facility classifications in eight counties. The table retains each dataset category, location and address. Address verification is explicitly marked rather than assumed. For the combined Legends Sports Complex DBAT SportsPlex category, the $18,234 is counted only once.

Address exceptions worth checking: Choctaw's facility-specific City page uses 1333 N. Indian Meridian Rd., while another City directory has displayed 1313 N. Indian Meridian. The Midwest City dataset uses ZIP 73130 for Reed, while Midwest City's official ballpark listing uses 73110. Neither discrepancy changes the historical fee arithmetic, but both should be reconciled before treating the address fields as definitive historical identifiers.

The City of Choctaw currently states that another organization manages league play at Bouse. That current statement cannot establish who operated the facility during any particular 2010–2020 event. Similarly, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation FireLake listing ↗ identifies a tribal recreation facility; it should not be casually classified as a municipality-owned ballpark.

A county/facility classification describes where an event is placed in the research data; it does not mean that county or municipality received the displayed entry fees.

5. Transparent financial modeling — not accounting results

Calculated entry-fee volume

Division team entries × advertised division entry price = calculated entry fees
All included divisions: $402,951
Non-league divisions: $391,379 + league-classified divisions: $11,572 = $402,951

Fees displayed as $0.00 are not replaced with guessed local charges. Refunds, discounts, uncollected registrations, different fee arrangements and cancellations are not independently reconciled. The model is not a receipt ledger.

Gate admission model already embedded in the dataset

For 285 of 287 division rows, the dataset uses a modeled 20 daily fans per entered team and a $5 daily admission; the remaining two rows are refund-labeled with zero modeled event days, admission and gate. The embedded gate calculation is:

Modeled daily fans × $5 × modeled event days = modeled gate
Illustrative row: 10 teams × 20 daily fans/team × $5 × 2 days = $2,000

These attendance and day counts are analytical assumptions, not ticket-scan totals. Multi-week league records in particular use lengthy event durations without proof that admission was charged on each modeled day. Counting every league day as a paid admission day could inflate the model substantially.

Concession gross and hypothetical net operating proceeds

The current dataset sets modeled concession gross sales equal to 50% of modeled gate (in every included division row). It does not contain verified concession transaction counts, menu pricing, payroll, food costs, taxes, or operator-specific sales reports. We show a separate, clearly hypothetical 25% operating-net margin on gross concession sales (equivalent to assumed costs of 75%). This is not evidence of an actual margin, distribution or recipient.

Scenario — do not add scenarios togetherCalculated team-entry feesModeled gateModeled concession gross (50% of gate)Illustrative concession net at 25% gross
All 287 division rows$402,951$1,072,000$536,000$134,000
Non-league rows only (240 rows / 100 events)$391,379$534,700$267,350$66,837.50
League-classified rows only (47 rows / 18 events)$11,572$537,300$268,650$67,162.50
Major sensitivity: Only 18 of 118 events are league-classified, yet their long modeled durations create $537,300 of the $1,072,000 total modeled gate. For a more bounded tournament illustration, the non-league-only gate estimate is $534,700. Neither gate total is verified cash collection.

Do not double count: The full-period and non-league numbers are alternative scopes; never add them. Gate and concessions describe separate possible sales categories but need actual transaction evidence to establish realizable amounts. A single family's payments can recur across days, and no component here is assigned to a director, concession operator, host organization, county, municipality, or sanctioning body. We do not present a combined event “income” or “profit” figure.

6. Games, umpires and historical records needing review

The CSV calculates 5,973 minimum games and 10,002 officiating assignments across the included division rows. These are modeled operational quantities, not verified completed contests or a head count of 10,002 people. The dataset uses different umpire-per-game values across divisions; schedules, payroll and actual-game reports are necessary to validate unique officials or payments.

One event ID, OKFS-Refunds (2013) ↗, includes 23 team entries across two divisions but records zero entry fees, zero modeled games, zero modeled officials and zero modeled event days. It remains in the dataset's team-entry count for faithful reproduction, but its “refund” name should not be treated as proof that 23 teams actually played games.

Three event IDs requiring date-level comparison: 171096, 171114 and 307139 show different division start dates under shared event identifiers. In this article they are counted as one event each; the underlying individual division links are provided in the source ledger below.

7. Public-facility accountability questions

What communities can document

  • Who held legal title and operational authority for each sports complex in the relevant year?
  • What reservation, license, lease or user-group agreement covered each event?
  • What field rental, utility, maintenance, custodial and capital costs were allocated?
  • Who was authorized to manage gate receipts, concessions and tournament deposits?

What records can resolve

  • Actual registration and payment ledgers, refunds and discounts.
  • Game schedules, cancellation reports and verified officials worked/paid.
  • Ticketing logs, concession settlements and operating expenses.
  • Governing-board approvals, public benefit terms, audit trails and contract closeout records.

The appropriate public-records process depends on the owner and governing authority. Municipal, private, nonprofit and tribal facilities may have different records-access obligations. These questions invite ordinary institutional accountability, not insinuations about the named individual.

Each row represents one unique source event ID; multiple age divisions are consolidated only within that event. Event and division link URLs were preserved from the research dataset; live responsiveness of older portal endpoints is not guaranteed. Dollar amounts are division-level entry-fee calculations, not verified revenue. Start dates are historical CSV strings and may differ between divisions in three flagged event IDs.

9. Corrections, documentation and right of response

Readers, tournament organizers, participating families, park operators, public officials and individuals identified in public records are welcome to provide source-based corrections, contracts, schedules, records of refunds, or other documentation that clarifies any figure or historical attribution. Corrections will be evaluated with the same standards applied to the dataset and explained when substantive.

Research contact: Kenneth@BCMSports.net. Please include the event ID, season, division and primary supporting record whenever possible.

“Public information should lead to informed questions, not unsupported accusations.”
Standing research disclaimer. Baseball Heaven's Integrity of the Game vs Economic Impact (Politics): The Oklahoma Business Plan is independent public-interest research. It is not sponsored or endorsed by USSSA or any municipality. The director name is a historical field attribution; event listings alone do not establish current role, personal income, net profit, unlawful conduct, the ownership of receipts, or complete historical operations. The dataset can contain stale links, administrative records, cancellations, incomplete reporting, pricing changes and modeling assumptions. Facilities and jurisdictions are cited as reflected in historical records unless independently corroborated. Where records are missing or disputed, the article identifies the limitation and invites evidence-based correction. Nothing in this article alleges wrongdoing by Missy Jennings or any other named person or entity.

Series: Day 1 — Introduction • Day 2 — Travis Kelly • Day 3 — Tony Taylor • Day 4 — Missy Jennings. This is a publication-ready draft; it has not been posted to WordPress.
