An Oklahoma youth baseball tournament can involve several communities, a mix of privately operated and public fields, team entry fees, gate admission and concession operations. Yet a tournament listing alone rarely identifies who actually received or retained those amounts. Day 14 examines the historical USSSA record associated with Bryan Pride—with special attention to The Battlefields in Oklahoma City, Fred Myers Civic Park and Reed Ballpark in Midwest City, and Choctaw’s Bouse Sports Complex—without turning a statistical estimate into a claim about anyone’s personal finances.

Controlling-dataset disclosure (October 25, 2026). The latest retrievable director-level control is HVIOG_9-20-2026_Master_Director_Inventory.csv (September 20, 2026). Its Bryan Pride record was reconciled against all 103 source rows from the older AIUSSSA%20-%20HVIOG(2).csv (July 23, 2026). Their six principal counts and calculated totals match exactly. The full September 20 division-level file could not be accessed in this review; therefore the event-by-event source ledger is labeled a July historical reconstruction, not a newly verified September event ledger. A precise individual USSSA director biography URL was not verified. Original event URLs from the CSV are archived locators and may not open today.

What the historical record establishes

The controlling inventory associates Bryan Pride with 34 distinct original USSSA event-page identifiers across three USSSA seasons (2018, 2019 and 2020). Its 103 division rows represent multiple age divisions within the same tournament. The record contains 532 team-event-division entries: not 532 unique organizations, athletes or households. The season labels follow the USSSA scheduling calendar; several events assigned to the 2019 season began in fall 2018, and several assigned to the 2020 season began in fall 2019.

Sport classification: baseball (all 103 older source division records). The existing independent Bryan Pride research profile describes his historical USSSA classification as Area Director. An official individual USSSA appointment record or personal director-profile page was not independently located; the general USSSA director lookup and the independent Bryan Pride research profile are supplied without representing them as a confirmed personal USSSA page.

Definition: Calculated Team Entry Fees = published division entry fee × recorded participating teams, summed once per division. For example, a division listed at $200 with 14 teams contributes $2,800 in calculated advertised entry-fee activity. It does not establish actual collections, transactions, deposits, refunds, facility earnings, director compensation or profit.

The arithmetic check covers each older row: listed teams × listed entry fee equals the displayed calculated entry fee across all 103/103 rows; no negative minimum-game or officiating-assignment values occur in this subset. There are 34 distinct original event URLs, despite 103 separate divisions. The September control does not provide an accessible division-level diff, however, so the reconciliation cannot prove every September event row and historical venue label is identical to July. All event-level details below retain that limitation.

Scope and missing evidence: The underlying dataset is a historical sample, not an audited operating ledger. It does not verify whether listed competitions were ultimately played, admission paid, concessions sold, teams refunded, officials paid, fields actually used, or revenue distributed. The September division-level export, historical field reservations, rental contracts, gate settlements and contemporaneous operator reports are needed to close those gaps.

2018–2020 activity by USSSA season

The highest calculated season was 2019 at $54,000; other season totals were $38,816 (2018) and $16,385 (2020). These figures are USSSA season groupings, not necessarily January–December calendar-year revenue. The listed 2020-season events include 2019 fall dates and April/June 2020 entries; calendar listings alone do not prove a tournament was completed during any disruption or cancellation period.

Where the events were listed: facilities and address verification

The following sites occur in the archived director subset. Historical label indicates a USSSA dataset location; address corroborated means a separate municipality, school or venue reference provides a matching address; it does not verify event-day play, lease terms or ownership. When several facilities appear in one division, they remain a single combined category until primary-field evidence is available.

Financial activity by mutually exclusive facility labels

The historical source row category accounting below sums to $109,201 and does not split a multi-facility label into duplicate totals. Some event groups include more than one category because different divisions reference different fields.

Airport East, Airport West, Babcock Park, Strickland ParkStillwater13$711
Carl Albert High SchoolMidwest City44$650

Material distinction: The Battlefields alone is associated with $71,520 in calculated advertised fees. The separate $3,850 “Bouse Sports Complex, The Battlefields” category does not mean Bouse received $3,850 or that both sites each generated $3,850. Similarly, the $16,925 Fred Myers/The Battlefields category represents one nonduplicated source pool.

Reconstructing “Others.” The existing six-page Bryan Pride research PDF groups $1,361 into “Others.” The older 103-row audit identifies $650 in the “Carl Albert High School” label and $711 in “Airport East, Airport West, Babcock Park, Strickland Park,” totaling $1,361. These are historical July row-level classifications reconciled to the same September aggregate; the exact September division-level venue labels are still unavailable for independent confirmation.

Why Fred Myers deserves a historical rather than present-day reading

The Bryan Pride record refers to Fred Myers ballfields during 2018–2020. Local reporting dated April 18, 2023 describes demolition and repurposing of most of the former Fred Myers Civic Ballpark in Midwest City. The successor MAC and upgraded Reed complex are distinct facilities, not retroactive names for Fred Myers tournaments. The former ballpark’s historical field agreements, fees and concession rights must be evaluated for the 2018–2020 period, not inferred from today’s sports-complex policies. 2023 reporting.

County reporting: one event, one primary-facility county

County reporting assigns a distinct event to the county containing its primary facility and never credits the same event to two counties. In this subset, all identified candidate venues within each 34-event group fall inside a single county. Thus county assignment is supportable for the archived 34 events even where the precise primary field remains unknown; the primary-facility determination is still marked unresolved at the park level for multi-site records.

CountyDistinct event IDsTeam-event entriesCalculated gross fees
Oklahoma32517$104,710
Payne19$2,601
Tulsa16$1,890

13 of the 34 events have multi-venue facility labels or more than one venue represented in their divisions. They require dated schedules, brackets or reservation records to establish the primary park; the associated $53,376 must not be credited to every listed park. The county totals are geographic associations of advertised tournament activity—not county receipts, tax collections or municipal revenues.

USSSA results and schedule evidence: links that can be inspected

Independent USSSA results pages identify “Results provided by Bryan Pride” for several divisions. One October 19, 2019 Fall Global State 11U result includes pool/bracket scores and event-specific posted admission prices: $6 adults, $4 seniors and $3 students aged 5–17. This is documentary evidence that those prices were posted for that historical result page, not proof of tickets sold, nor a lawful basis to extrapolate those rates to every tournament.

For complete event navigation, the expandable 34-event ledger below reproduces the original USSSA event-home locators preserved in the older CSV. Several historical usssa.com/baseball/event_home links no longer open in web review; an original URL is therefore a locator, not a claim of current accessibility. The director-specific USSSA personal profile was not independently confirmed; no URL has been fabricated.

Gate admission and net concessions: fully disclosed scenarios

Not actual receipts. Tournament gate and concession records were not supplied. The following figures are deliberately hypothetical, not Bryan Pride’s income, USSSA revenue, net event income, concession contracts, taxable receipts or municipality collections. Actual attendance could be smaller, larger or zero if an event did not proceed, admission was waived or the venue had different arrangements.

Scenario assumptions

Use the archived 532 team-event-division entries as the unit of modeling; assume 20 paying spectators per team entry per charged day and an illustrative $5 blended ticket price. Assume concessions generate gross sales of 50% of estimated gate, with 80% of concession gross consumed by product, staffing and other hypothetical concession costs, leaving 20% net concession proceeds. Gate scenarios vary only the number of hypothetical paid days; they are alternatives, not additive estimates.

Estimated gate = team-event entries × assumed paid spectators per team/day × assumed ticket price × charged days Gross concessions = 50% × estimated gate; modeled net concessions = gross concessions − (80% × gross concessions) = 10% × modeled gate
Alternative modelTeam-event spectator-day basisHypothetical gateGross concessions (50% gate)Concession costs (80% gross)Modeled net concessions (20% gross)
A — One charged day532 × 20 = 10,640$53,200$26,600$21,280$5,320
B — Maximum two charged days1,064 × 20 = 21,280$106,400$53,200$42,560$10,640
C — Every listed source calendar day (illustration only)1,460 × 20 = 29,200$146,000$73,000$58,400$14,600

Worked example, two charged days: 532 team entries × 20 paid spectators × $5 × 2 days = $106,400 hypothetical admission gate. Gross concession sales at 50% = $53,200; hypothetical concession operating costs at 80% of gross = $42,560; net concessions = $53,200 − $42,560 = $10,640. This concession net is not overall tournament profit: umpire compensation, park rent, insurance, staffing, administration, tax, refunds and other expenses are not settled by this formula.

Scenario C uses the archived source-date inclusive span: 396 team entries associated with three calendar dates and 136 associated with two dates, giving 396 × 3 + 136 × 2 = 1,460 hypothetical paid team-days. Friday-to-Sunday listings do not prove three charged spectator days. Because the September event-level file is unavailable, these scenarios are illustrative computations from the reconciled older team counts, not verified September gate estimates.

The verified 2019 USSSA result’s ticket prices ($6 adult/$4 senior/$3 student) differ from the uniform hypothetical $5 used above. Without age mix, free-admission rules, repeat-entry rules, number of charged game days and actual turnstile counts, applying that event’s rates universally would create a false precision.

Public-facility oversight: the questions these records support

Where a city- or school-controlled field hosted an event, accountability begins with the agreement and ledger, not speculation about a named director. Documents can clarify:

  • For each listed date, which specific field was the primary playing site, and which public agency or school district authorized its use?
  • Was there a dated reservation, approved tournament permit, license, lease, fee waiver or revenue-sharing agreement?
  • What historical fee schedule applied to field rentals, lights, restrooms, security, insurance, facility staffing and equipment?
  • Who operated and retained gate admissions and concessions, and were those rights allocated by contract?
  • What receipts, deposits or invoices were recorded by the public facility, and how do they reconcile to written agreements?
  • Were any listed events canceled, moved, refunded or held across multiple venues, and does the actual tournament schedule document those changes?
  • For Fred Myers in 2018–2020, which obligations applied before the 2023 ballfield demolition and subsequent facility changes?
  • If a park was privately managed or privately owned, did any public subsidy, public maintenance or municipal contract apply, and what source verifies that relationship?

The available sources do not establish any specific revenue recipient or a missing public payment. They identify the records necessary for informed oversight. Municipal questions should be addressed to the responsible records custodians, with historic facility names and dates to avoid confusing old sites with replacement facilities.

Audit trail: 34 distinct historical event identifiers

Rows below are grouped once by original event-page URL. Teams, fees, minimum games and officiating slots are tabulated by division in the separate 103-row audit; the ledger’s older event-level data should not be treated as fully revalidated September event data. The main table highlights source calendar, names, original facility labels, county and public locator without creating 103 false “tournaments.”
